A player can play as a Spirit if there is one available. You must already have a character lvl 20 or higher and you must be active in the community.

You must create a new account dedicated to the existence of your Spirit character, whose username is the name of your Spirit dragon. You must write up a background history for your Spirit and provide a picture of him/her. You will create a thread in the Weekly Devotions section of the forum where players can pray to your Spirit, and then choose a day of the week to be the Sacred Day where these prayers take mass. You will also choose a known hexagon on any map to become the location of your Spirit's Temple.

Prayer Points can only be gathered and accounted for if they were placed within the 24 hours of the day you have chosen. A player may pray once in a given week. Each individual prayer equals 1 point unless it is from a consecutive returning player which totals as follows:

week 1 - 1 pt
week 2 - 2 pt
week 3 - 3 pt
(and so forth...)
week 9 - 9 pt
week 10 - 10 pt
week 11 - 10 pt
week 12 - 10 pt

A single prayer from a devotee equals 5 points each time. As long as a devotee is in the Temple they may pray every day. Otherwise, they can pray on the sacred day when outside the Temple.

A player whose character has entered a Spirit's Temple and has prayed on the sacred day of the week equals 10 points. Any other day outside Sacred Day equals 5 points. A player can pray at the Temple for 7 consecutive days before needing to move on.

For every 30 points gathered your Spirit gains 1 Power to grant upon items or players. Power can be combined to create better gifts. Power bestowed falls accordingly:

Armor - Blessed armor adds defensive points which are not broken down when attacked, and may allow a player to possess points over their max. 1 Power Blessed equals 1 stat. Blessed armor can only be destroyed by a Spirit. Blessed armor can be sent randomly into the world for players to discover, or Blessed armor can be given as a gift to a player while using an Encounter with a gift of quality.

Weapons - Blessed weapons adds offensive points upon an attack roll, and may allow a player to possess points over their max. 1 Power blessed equals 1 stat. Blessed weapons can only be destroyed by a Spirit. Blessed weapons can be sent randomly into the world for players to discover, or Blessed armor can be given as a gift to a player while using an Encounter with a gift of quality.

Items - Items can be enchanted with a Spirit's Blessing. 1 Power blessed equals 1 generated Isa per week, or 1 generated profession supplies per week. Blessed items can only be destroyed by a Spirit. Blessed items can be sent randomly into the world for players to discover, or Blessed armor can be given as a gift to a player while using an Encounter with a gift of quality.

Players - Spirits can bless players with their power. 1 Power blessed equals 1 stat added upon any attribute, and may allow a player to posses attribute points over their max. Blessings upon players can only be revoked by the same Spirit who granted them. Blessing a player or revoking a blessing must be coupled with an Encounter.

Encounters - Spirits may spend Power points to change/alter/help the outcome of a circumstance. 5 Power equals 1 Encounter. Encounters are; gift of life, gift of quality, gift of experience, gift of profession, gift of godspeed, gift of fervor, and gift of fellowship. Spirits can randomly intervene and perform a blessed encounter.

Tokens - Tokens resemble medallions that are normally round in shape and has the words of a spell imprinted upon them. Tokens can only be blessed with an Encounter. Recite the words of the spell to invoke the Encounter. The Encounter must be preformed by the same Spirit who blessed the Token. Spirits are bound to perform the Encounter. The token expires and disappears after it is used. Tokens can only be destroyed by a Spirit. Tokens can be randomly sent into the world for players to discover or can be given to a player while using an Encounter with the gift of quality.

*gift of life - bringing a deceased player back from the dead. The player re-enters the world at the Spirit's Temple 48 hours after the Encounter has been preformed. Player re-enters the world at the same level and stats they became deceased. Player gains back current status of possessions. Items auctioned off, marauded, stolen, or inherited cannot be gained back.

*gift of quality - Increasing a player's quality of life through gifting them with blessed items. Player may equip, or begin generating an amount, 48 hours after the Encounter has been preformed.

*gift of experience - Increasing a player's level by gifting them with experience points. A max of 150 points. Player may make the addition to experience points 48 hours after the Encounter has been preformed.

*gift of profession - Giving a player a boost in their profession by gifting them with profession supplies. Player may handle the supplies 48 hours after the Encounter has been preformed.

*gift of godspeed - Transporting a player to any chosen spot on any chosen map. There is no timestamp wait upon this Encounter. Player will instantly appear at the new location. Players may use a gift of godspeed Token to flea a battle, or a Spirit may instantly godspeed a player away from a battle.

*gift of fervor - Increasing a player's attack stats during a battle. There is no timestamp wait upon this Encounter. Player will instantly apply the points to their stats. Fifty percent stat increase max. Gift of Fervor expires after 2 rounds.

*gift of fellowship - To gift a mortal with the fellowship of a Spirit. A Spirit may materialize into the physical realm and interact with players. Expires after 48 hours, or after 4 rounds, whichever comes first.

Shrines act as Temples and are marked on the map. Shrines must be erected by a Priest or Priestess, and tended by Priest's, Priestesses, or Devotees. A shrine not attended to after 180 days will crumble into the earth.

Players with Spirit characters must remain active. Spirits who fail to meet the needs of their followers will become Lost, and will be replaced by another active player. 14 days after no response to a need, or 180 days of not signing into your account, will declare you as inactive and your Spirit character will become Lost and replaced.
